More happy competition news!
OneEyeland.com is a massive world wide forum for Professional and Amateur Photographers where one can seek inspiration and ideas from other photographers by viewing their portfolios and galleries.
At the moment there are over 60 000 members with over 115 000 images sent to the website.
So we’re not talking about a tiny community.
One Eyeland Awards is a competition they have every year. It’s one of the biggest in the world they say.
The competition is not only for Professional photographers but also for Amateur / Student photographers, retouchers, CGI-artists, advertising agencies etc. and they’ll reward the best of the best in multiple categories.
3313 images from 48 different countries were sent to the competition this year.
I also sent few of my images to different Advertising categories, just for fun and to test how would it go for me in a competition where it’s really not easy to win.
So I was a bit amazed that I got some success!
Total of 1 x Bronze Award and 5 x Finalist certificate!
I’m so honored to be notified in a group of highly ranked Professionals like this! And by a quick look it seems that I was the only Finn who got awarded this time.
